A young man sprinkling his lawn with pesticides wanted to check the contents of the barrel to see how much pesticide remained in it. He raised the cover and lit his lighter; the vapors ignited and engulfed him. He jumped from his truck, screaming.
His neighbor came out of her house with a dozen eggs and a bowl yelling: “bring me some more eggs!” She broke them, separating the whites from the yolks.
Another neighbor helped her apply the whites onto the young man’s face. When the ambulance arrived and the EMTs saw the young man, they asked who had done this. Everyone pointed to the lady in charge. They congratulated her and said: “You have saved his face.”
By the end of the summer, the young man brought the lady a bouquet of roses to thank her. His face was like baby skin.
First Aid consists of first spraying cold water onto the affected area until heat is reduced which stops the continued burning of all layers of the skin.
Then, spread egg whites onto the affected area. One woman burned a large part of her hand with boiling water. In spite of the pain, she ran cold faucet water on her hand, separated 2 egg whites from the yolks, beat them slightly and dipped her hand in the solution. The whites dried and formed a protective layer (
egg white is a natural collagen) and she continued for one hour to apply layer upon layer of beaten egg white. By afternoon she no longer felt any pain and the next day there was hardly a trace of the burn. 10 days later, no trace was left at all and her skin had regained its normal color. The burned area was totally regenerated thanks to the collagen in the egg whites, a placenta full of vitamins.

My dog Blue or Blueman, BlueSUP, Bluedog, Blueski, Bluefish amongst a number of other names. He was my best friend and he wants Da a Show to go on! Several years ago, I had a man seeking asparagus for a
friend who had cancer. He gave me a photocopied copy of an article, entitled, Asparagus for cancer ‘printed in Cancer
News Journal, December 1979. I will share it here, just
as it was shared with me: I am a biochemist, and have
specialized in the relation of diet to health or over 50 years.
Several years ago, I learned of the discovery of Richard R.
Vensal, D.D.S. that asparagus might cure cancer. Since then,
I have worked with him on his project We have accumulated
a number of favorable case histories. Here are a few examples:
Case No. 1, A man with an almost hopeless case
of Hodgkin’s disease (cancer of the lymph glands) who
was completely incapacitated. Within 1 year of starting
the asparagus therapy, his doctors were unable to
detect any signs of cancer, and he was back on a
schedule of strenuous exercise.
Case No. 2
, a successful businessman 68 years old
who suffered from cancer of the bladder for 16 years.
After years of medical treatments, including radiation
without improvement, he went on asparagus. Within 3 months, examinations revealed that his bladder tumor
had disappeared and that his kidneys were normal.
Case No. 3, a man who had lung cancer. On March 5th
1971, he was put on the operating table where they found
lung cancer so widely spread that it was inoperable.
The surgeon sewed him up and declared his case
hopeless. On April 5th he heard about the Asparagus
therapy and immediately started taking it By August,
x-ray pictures revealed that all signs of the cancer had

Case No. 4, a woman who was troubled for a number of
years with skin cancer. She finally developed different
skin cancers which were diagnosed by the acting
specialist as advanced. Within 3 months after starting
on asparagus, her skin specialist said that her skin
looked fine and no more skin lesions. This woman
reported that the asparagus therapy also cured her
kidney disease, which started in 1949. She had over 10
operations for kidney stones, and was receiving
government disability payments for an inoperable,
terminal, kidney condition. She attributes the cure of
this kidney trouble entirely to the asparagus.
I was not surprised at this result, as `The elements of
material medica’, edited in 1854 by a Professor at the
University of Pennsylvania, stated that asparagus was
used as a popular remedy for kidney stones. He even
referred to experiments, in 1739, on the power of
asparagus in dissolving stones. Note the dates!
We would have other case histories but the medical
establishment has interfered with our obtaining some
of the records. I am therefore appealing to readers to
spread this good news and help us to gather a large
number of case histories that will overwhelm the
medical skeptics about this unbelievably simple and
For the treatment, asparagus should be cooked before
using, and therefore canned asparagus is just as good
as fresh. I have corresponded with the two leading
canners of asparagus, Giant and Stokely, and I
am satisfied that these brands contain no pesticides
or preservatives. Place the cooked asparagus in a
blender and liquefy to make a puree, and store in the
refrigerator. Give the patient 4 full tablespoons twice
daily, morning and evening. Patients usually show
some improvement in 2-4 weeks. It can be diluted with
water and used as a cold or hot drink. This suggested
dosage is based on present experience, but certainly
larger amounts can do no harm and may be needed in
some cases. As a biochemist I am convinced of the old
saying that `what cures can prevent.’ Based on this theory,
my wife and I have been using asparagus puree as a
beverage with our meals. We take 2 tablespoons diluted
in water to suit our taste with breakfast and with dinner.
I take mine hot and my wife prefers hers cold. For years we
have made it a practice to have blood surveys taken as
part of our regular checkups. The last blood survey,
taken by a medical doctor who specializes in the
nutritional approach to health, showed substantial
improvements in all categories over the last one, and
we can attribute these improvements to nothing but
the asparagus drink.
As a biochemist, I have made an extensive study of all
aspects of cancer, and all of the proposed cures. As a
result, I am convinced that asparagus fits in better
with the latest theories about cancer.
Asparagus contains a good supply of protein called
histones, which are believed to be active in controlling
cell growth. For that reason, I believe asparagus can
be said to contain a substance that I call cell growth
normalizer. That accounts for its action on cancer and
in acting as a general body tonic. In any event,regardless
of theory, asparagus used as we suggest, is a harmless
substance. The FDA cannot prevent you
from using it and it may do you much good. It has
been reported by the US National Cancer Institute, that
asparagus is the highest tested food containing glutathione,
which is considered one of the body’s most potent
anticarcinogens and antioxidants.
This weekend on through to Monday morning we had a couple of cars broken into at the marina. The thieves that cruise the marina are scouting for bags that they can visibly see. If they see a bag, they will break a window, grab the bag and flee. They have found this to be a very good area for this type behavior because they seem to know people will be away from their cars for a couple/few hours. Locking the car is not enough, if they see a bag they will break a window.

I think we all have a pretty good idea and our own opinion of what the Coast Guard Ruling is. PFD and or a Leash must be worn at all times. The PFD should be attached to the Board if the leash is being worn. Kids 12 and under must be wearing a PFD and a Leash at all times. PFD must be present with a leash on the outside of the surf zone and in vessel traveling waterways. A leash only inside of the surf zone. I am a major supporter of common sense and water safety. You can never be safe enough with both. For the Waterman at heart, a leash is considered safety first. We all believe that a SUP is a PFD. The Coast Guard and our Arizona Lakes has SUP categorized as a kayak and considers that tonnage rules. The little guy is not likely seen. Most” Big Boats” have there bow in the air and can’t see us. In Arizona and most other recreational waterways, the boat captain has been drinking or is down below for a brisk time. If we got hit by a boat and survived, lost the board, leash and PFD, well this is where common sense kicks in. Know what is best to prepare yourself in the conditions you choose to paddle in. What happens to your body after you drink a soda every day, for a long time
Carbonated pick-me-ups can seem like a harmless indulgence, but your health pays a price.
Sugar rushes and caffeine highs followed by a depressing energy crash are what happens to your body if you drink a soda right now, but plenty of Blisstree readers actually seem to be okay with that. Some of you think it’s alarmist to compare a caffeine and sugar rush to doing drugs, and some just don’t really care about the slump they’ll find themselves in after drinking 39 grams of sugar, but what makes us really worried about a soda-slurping habit is what happens over the long term.
Here’s a quick snapshot of you, in a few years, after drinking soda on a regular basis:
You’ll Be Fatter: According to research in the Nurse’s Health Study, which monitored the health of 90,000 women for eight years, drinking a single soda every day of the week added 10 pounds over a four-year period.
You’ll Probably Have Diabetes: In the Nurses’ Health Study, women who said they drank one or more servings a day of a sugar-sweetened soft drink or fruit punch were twice as likely to have developed type 2 diabetes during the study than those who rarely consumed these beverages.
You’re Much More Likely to Develop Heart Disease: According to a study published in 2007 in Circulation, the journal of the American Heart Association, subjects who drank a soda every day over a four-year period had a 25% chance of developing high blood sugar levels and a 32% greater chance of developing lower “good” cholesterol levels. The Nurses’ Health Study found that women who drank more than two sugary beverages per day had a 40% higher risk of heart attacks or death from heart disease than women who rarely drank sugary beverages.
You’re Probably Also Less Healthy In Other Ways: Several studies, including the 2007 study published in Circulation, suggest that diet sodas have some of the same effects on health as regular sodas, despite having none or very little of the sugar. Why? Drinking soda is typically part of an overall lifestyle that’s not very healthy: We know you don’t like us to compare drinking caffeine and sugar to substance abuse, but when it comes to your lifestyle, some think that soda is just like a gateway drug.
